Ability Bow Instructor Profile – Raz

My name is Razeen Uddin. I’m currently 29 years old and live in North London.
Health and fitness has always been a part of my life, and after secondary school I felt I needed to increase my level of physical activity. In school or college you remain seated for so much of the day so I decided to take up different sports.
In 2002 I started Kung Fu and trained under a Shaolin monk which was very dedicated training and since have continued to train in different martial arts. I agreed with their holistic approach to exercise because although my father was very strong he suffered from various health conditions such as arthritis, diabetes and bronchitis; so I wanted to improve both my fitness and my health.
As my knowledge of exercise increased I decided to study as a personal trainer and qualified in personal training and sports therapy. I began working in my local area and have been doing so for over 4 years and had the chance to work with people with different health conditions.
A friend of mine, Drew told me of the positive work he was doing at Ability Bow so I decided to visit.

On my first visit I knew I wanted to join the team and add my skills and experience. Ability Bow always has a fun environment, people are always friendly and there’s always a smile around. The atmosphere is positive which makes members and staff want to be there. The results achieved by the members and staff speak for themselves which makes it a great place to work.
My future plans in the fitness industry are to further develop my skills and become a leading specialist in exercise referral. As I develop I believe so will Ability Bow and I wish to be at Ability Bow to see it.
I’m currently training at the Roger Gracie Academy and hope to compete for them throughout the coming years. I also wish to gain my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
