Positive Steps for Mental Wellbeing

gym member maria imagePositive Steps is an exercise project aimed at supporting people who have mental health problems to take part in regular, supervised exercise.

Suitable for people with mild depression to more complex health conditions including people with additional disabilities. Exercise is known to improve mood and socialising in a group can be really beneficial for mental health. This project provides a series of one-to-one exercise sessions plus access to weekly group exercise classes focused on boosting mental wellbeing.

Additionally, through funding from London Catalyst, we have a part-time Development Instructor who can provide outreach and a flexible approach to supporting people with mental illness to exercise regularly.
